It's time to get real and talk about wealth in black and white.
In The Colour of Money, financial expert Timi Merriman-Johnson explores the relationship between ethnic groups and their financial outcomes in 21 Century Britain: showing the historical growth of ethnic wealth, up to the present and future, with a particular focus on those of African and Caribbean heritage.
Why do some ethnic groups in Britain seem to have so much more wealth than others?
·How does the social group you are born into affect your financial outcomes?
·And how does your ethnic background and cultural upbringing affect your relationship with money?
As Timi says:
"Ultimately, I have written this book with two main goals. To all readers, it is my hope you will learn about a part of society you need to better understand. For black readers specifically, I will show you the history of our finances in the hopes of offering you a framework of achievable ways to grow your financial wealth."
