Rupert Callender
Ru has been a self taught, self proclaimed radical undertaker for the past 23 years, and he mainly writes and delivers eulogies for people he has never met. His company, The Green Funeral Company was described by The Good Funeral Guide as βThe best undertakers of all time, by a country mile.β Ru co-wrote the fifth edition of THE NATURAL DEATH HANDBOOK, and curated and edited an accompanying book of essays called WRITING ON DEATH. His first solo book, WHAT REMAINS? LIFE, DEATH AND THE HUMAN ART OF UNDERTAKING is a memoir/manifesto published by Chelsea Green and charts his unlikely path to counterculture funeral director via crop circles, acid house and chaos magic.
