MONEY IS A FEMINIST ISSUE aims to help all women improve their financial literacy

Think there is gender equality when it comes to money?  Well, money is power and women still have less of it than men. There are gender gaps in pay, workplace representation, pensions, investing, debt costs, burdens, and access. There are disparities in how we educate our girls and boys about money and their place in the world, in our aspirations and attitudes to money and how we operate in the financial sphere. There are radical differences in the way the money world speaks to us. At current rates of progress, we are decades, arguably over a century away, from parity, equality, from full financial enfranchisement.

This book identifies the gaps, why they exist and what we can do about them. Crucially, the book will tell the reader:  How we can speed up our progress.

If you chafe at all the gaps above; if you have money but feel you could do more with it; if you don’t feel in control of your money and don’t understand what’s getting in your way nor what to do about it; if you’d like to improve your financial health and master money, this book is for you. Linda hopes to empower any female reader who hopes to create a new relationship with money. Linda wants to provide readers the tools to make money work for you. With inflation rising and a cost-of-living crisis biting, this book is timelier than ever.

MONEY IS A FEMINIST ISSUE offers practical hacks and psychological tools to improve our financial health immediately, and a road map to lead us to a healthier, safer, freer financial future.

GELERT’S GHOST

RIGHTS AVAILABLE: All rights available and handled by the bks Agency

Karma, bloodlines and unfinished business.

In a valley ringed by mountains lies a small village, haunted by an ancient legend. Where the past lives on in stone, memories and blood.

Elen Llewelyn and her father Bryn come to Beddgelert, looking for a fresh start. They’re rebuilding the ruined cottage where their ancestors lived for hundreds of years, which, unaccountably, has lain abandoned for just as long.

In a hanging valley, Elen meets a boy, Will, from another of the old families. Will’s sinister aunt Marguerite tries to keep them apart, else 'blood will have blood.’ But the echoes of the past are quickening.  And death is already closing in.

Elen is gripped by powerful visions that transport her back to the 13th century. Her growing relationship with Will sets Marguerite on a murderous path. And, high in the mountains Gelert’s ghost awakens, thirsty for vengeance for an ancient injustice.

Elen must break the cycle of death and vengeance so that Gelert can finally walk in peace so that she and Will can resume the long-dead love affair of their doomed ancestors.
