Retired Head Teacher Julia, logical, organised, bossy, and her flamboyant and spirited half-sister, Frankie, couldn’t be more different. After a fallout with her sister some years ago, Frankie’s returned from her travels to lay claim to her half of Rose Cottage, left to them by their Aunt Lucy, and to attempt to salvage her relationship with Julia.

At the village fete, Frankie wins a ticket for two guests to a murder mystery weekend at Medfield House, an elegant Victorian mansion in the Somerset Hills. When the sisters discover a murdered guest in a secret passage, they believe that a more sinister game is afoot. But the body disappears before anyone else can witness it.

What with the glamour and the intrigue of the other guests, the thrill of the murder mystery and the actors slipping in and out of character, it’s hard to distinguish between fact and fiction. The sister's zealous sleuthing puts them in mortal danger. Nothing and no one is as they seem.

Witty and charming characters and a plot with more twists and turns than a country road. The SNOOP SISTERS: THE CROAKING RAVEN is Jayne’s debut novel and the first in this edgy cosy crime series. www.thesnoopsisters.com
