Doro Globus

Doro Globus is a writer, editor, and publisher specializing in creative culture, with a focus on arts publishing. Her first book Making a Great Exhibition is a fun, inside look at the life of an artwork shows the journey of two artists’ work from studio to exhibition. Stopping along the way she introduces a cast of characters—curators, photographers, shippers, museum visitors, and more!

A passionate advocate for sharing creativity, Doro has dedicated her career to telling stories of artists and writers. She is the Co-Publisher of David Zwirner Books and has worked in arts publishing for over 15 years. She has written about artists and art historians including Dawn Ades, Michael Bracewell, Fred Wilson, and Bridget Riley.

Doro is focused on sharing with children (and adults!) how the things around them are made or work. She hopes that by providing an inside look into a variety of industries and careers she can help make them more accessible. Doro was born and raised in New York City and lives in London with her two children and husband.
